To: Mrs. L.E. Conner, 27 Jay St. Newton Falls, Ohio From: Cpl. L.E. Conner 35527286 1079 Q.M. H9 Ser. Gp. (?) A.P.O. #133 N.Y. 6/3/45 Dear Mommie, Today I received a lovely V Mail from Evelyn O. it sort of surprised me. She wrote that she would write again and tell me all about the art college. Ahem! Better watch the old man. I’ve been working quite a steady pace the past two days helping one of the fellows (Rearich, Wardely R. of Penna.) fix a cab on one of our vehicles. I can’t write spell or anything else tonight. I received a letter from Dollie Riggle the day befor yesterday but no mail from you. All my love, Pop.
