Description

Jaycees sponsored area prize fighter Earnie Shavers with J. Lowey, B. Peoples and J.Rigby of James Funeral Home. These photos were put into a collage style to promote Earnie Shavers Day (October 25, 1972) This event included a pro ring apperance by Shavers in the High School Gym with Leroy Cadwell in a 10 round main event. Included Lightweight John Giroski vs. Kenny baker, plus five amatuer bouts.
