Description

Newton Township celebrated its bicentennial by erecting a plaque at the intersection of Hallock-Young and Hallock-Sook Road in honor of its first settlers, Alexander and Sarah Sutherland. Township trustee Peter J. Augusta unveils the historical marker as other township officials look on.
