The bridge was built in 1831, the oldest in the state with a covered walkway. The only covered bridge in Trumbull County, it is over the East branch of the Mahoning river, on Bridge street. This bridge is of the Town Truss construction, and 123 feet long. Due to its structural strength, the bridge reveals the many scars of the passing elements. The ice scars and flood damage of the years 1884 and 1910.Created By
