Description

Born in Giosia Marea, Italy , Sam Giuliano moved to Newton Falls in 1948. Sam and Katie Giuliano took over Uncle Carlos Pizza Shop and opened on Valentine's Day in 1958. A small pizza sold for fifty cents and pop was a dime. His mother , Maria, sisters Carmella and Margarita sisters in laws Cicina and Armenia worked at the family shop. A steelworker Sam retired from Newton Falls Rockwell Bumper Plant. Sam and Katie had six children and ten grandchildren. Pictured is Sam and Katie's wedding photo. 1957.
