Newton Township Trustees at the bicentennial ceremony. L-R: George Prelac, Peter Augusta, Delbert J. Woloski (trustee chairman) and Kay Lingo (township clerk). The township erected a plaque at the intersection of Hallock-Young and Hallock-Sook Road in honor of its first settlers, Alexander and Sarah Sutherland.
