Description

Newton Township Hall located on Newton Falls Bailey Rd. Photo taken by Robert Irwin and his son, Dean for the revised edition of the History of Newton Falls. John Cover was custodian and it is his car parked out front. Building was the old Lutheran Church which was on Newton Tomlinson Rd, purchased by the Grange and moved to Arlington Rd (Newton Falls Bailey Rd). Was used used as Grange Hall and Newton Twp Hall untill 1978 when new Twp building was built. The building was purchased by Peter Talanca and is now (2008) housed at his place of business (U-Haul and Storage Facility) on Arlington Rd.
