Description

Handbag or purse made of cedar bark, plaited base; sides are rows of alternating twined weave. False embroidery "Hydaburg" other side "Alaska" using undyed grass. Decorated with false embroidery pattern near top edge using pink, orange, & brown colors. Handle or latch material missing. Base is cracked, broken weave. Fragile bag.
