Basket, Tlingit Style, berry basket flared top made out of spruce root, flared top. Four bands of false embroidery maidenhair fern, row 1 & 4 half the head of Salmon berry design, rows 2 & 3 butterfly. Note states: "purchased from Indians in 1917, Prince of Wales", (bought in Sitka in 1909?).
