Bayonet found at site of Russian Fort Redoubt St. Dionysius which was leased to English Hudson Bay Company 1840-1849. A visitor to museum claiming to be familiar with sword antiquities told staff this is an English Baker Bayonet. Remains of leather sheath remain. Handle missing parts, tarnished. Blade extremely rusty and fragile. Needs conservation.
