Lockable wooden case for Bausch & Lomb Optical Microscope pat. Jan 5, 1915. Microscope was used at Bishop Rowe Hospital according to Research Spreadsheet. Two slide-out wooden rack holders store metal lense tubes and 2 monocular eye pieces(#5 & #10). Case has 2 metal braces built in base to hold microscope feet. Corners are finger joints, and two simple brass hinges fasten to the door. Folding metal handle at top. Light brown wood stain. A round polariser filter fits into a slot in cabinet (under the slide out holder on left).
