A collection of 18 "J" fishhooks attached to small-sized 3 strand twined hemp rope cut into 50 inch lengths. Might be vintage halibut gangens / gangions. Fishing equipment used in days before steel circle hooks for commercial or subsistence long line fishing. Gangens were attached to a weighted ground line, forming a halibut skate. Sharp. (Could this be Research Spreadsheet entry of 18 trolling hooks??)
