Megaphone, device to amplify the voice. Conical shape with metal handle, metal band at large end, metal mouth piece. Compress paper or leather construction. Brown stain. Used to shout orders in sailing ships crew over noise of wind. Acquired from Alaska Packers in Wrangell by Ernest Campbell. Used in 1920's. May have been a spare that came off one of the "Star" ship that came into Wrangell.
