A large archeological collection recovered during the Wrangell Downtown Revitalization Project of 2012. The construction project involved digging up Front Street and replacing power/water/sever mains, followed by repaving and sidewalk improvements. Included in the accession are soil samples, project maps, bottles, pottery shards, iron anchor, etc. All are documented in the field archeology methods with original plat labels and terminology.
