Bronze spike, looks handmade, from shipwreck Ancon. The Ancon was a wooden sidewheel paddle steamship grounded in 1886 at Icy Straits, Alaska and repaired. Final wreck was in Naha Bay near Loring Alaska, a cannery community, in the year 1889. On board was the artist Albert Bierstad who painted the "Wreck of the Ancon". See file.
