Flat top, wood construction covered with dark green canvas. Metal bands tacked along width and corners, leather handles, lockable clasp, metal hinges. Pat'd March '69 (1869?) Canvas worn, still in good condition. Sticky substance on entire surface with grey mold so quarantine until conservation treatment. Plain interior. No shelving or compartments.
