Hat, Leader of All Ravens, at.oow object, Teeyhittaan clan, Tlingit, cedar carved form of Raven, delicate formline design inlaid with 18 copper discs, abalone eyes & human hair. Four potlatch rings stained green support 3 ermine pelts. The short tail is carved with human face upturned. The hat is finely decorated painted black, red & green. The hat's name is Yeil Aan Kaawu, belonging to the Tee-Hit-Ton clan of the Stikine Tlingit (alternate spelling).
