Blank postcard of the "Queen Mary" superliner, used to transport allied troops during the Second World War. After the war it remained in service until 1967. It also transported war brides from the Netherlands.

Context

Belonged to a Dutch war bride who came to Capreol in 1946, she married Max Carrise, they had two children, Dippie passed away at the age of 100.
