Postcard sent to Mr. and Mrs. Carrisse in Capreol ON from San Francisco in 1947. It was sent by someone named Alice, the message reads "Hello! Having a wonderful vacation. Took a nice trip throughout Chinatown last night. Going to Los Angeles next week. Alice" Front image is of the San-Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, U.S. Battleships at anchor.

Context

Belonged to a Dutch war bride Dippie Carrise who came to Capreol in 1946, she married Max Carrise, they had two children, Dippie passed away at the age of 100.
