The booklet was intended for the use of students and it provides them with a brief history of the development of the town of Walden.
It discusses: the first residents (first nations), the fur trade, lumbering, the railway (CPR), mining, immigration, agriculture, war history, and development since the 1950s.
Each section of discussion also features suggested activities as well as further reading for the reader.
At the end of the book there is also a section for: standard trade rates, a bannock recipe, as well as mining wages in the Sudbury area.Collection
