The first section describes who Fred Sloman is and why the Lion's club not only accepted him but sent funds for his school car. The second section describes a situation where Fred Sloman helped out a young boy who was known as a bad kid and usually was blamed for thefts and vandalism in the area. The lions saw him trying to covet a tractor and bought it for him to tinker with and try to get running. He eventually got it running and it changed the child into an honest man.Context
