Inventory list from the Algoma Eastern Railway shop in Sudbury, from December 3rd, 1929. The list contains all of the machinery, tools and equipment used by the Sudbury shop. Bound in brown paper.

Context

The Algoma Eastern Railway was in the process of being sold to Canadian Pacific at this point. Ownership by the same corporation that owned Algoma Central, the Algoma Eastern was sold to Canadian Pacific to raise money to bear the capital cost of building a coal dock at Michipicoten Harbour.. Change of ownership of the railway shop from Algoma Eastern Railway to Canadian Pacific.
