Binder containing a host of various passenger traffic department notices for Canadian National for the following months and years: April 1928, June 1928, June 1931, June 1938, June 1946, May 1949, May 1952, April 1956, October 1958, April 1959 and April 1960. Each section contains information in regards to sleeping and parlor car assignments and the destinations and departures of each car, also noted is each additional stop on the way to the train's final destination. The cities in each section also vary and include most Canadian provinces.

These historic documents represent the work of conductors as well as ticket salesmen who had to have these schedules memorized in order to instruct passengers on the best way to arrive at their desired destinations.
Canadian National was created following the end of the First World War, by combining five lines which were financially troubled. It soon became the largest railway in the country.
Canadian National Railways was founded in 1919 as a combination of several railways that had become bankrupt and were being ran by the Canadian Government Railways, its primary service was freight but also operated passenger service until 1978 until it was absorbed by VIA rail. The Canadian National Railways was created by the Government of Canada as a means to fund the failing railway corporations including: Intercolonial Railway of Canada, National Transcontinental Railway, Prince Edward Island Railway, and Hudson's Bay Railway.Collection
