This ship was one of the naval ships responsible for bringing war brides, children and soldiers to Canada. This ship arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on August 10, 1946 and its sisters Winifred and Claire arrived in Halifax on August 15, 1946. The brides, soldiers, and children destined for Capreol, Ontario arrived on August 17, 1946.
