Context

The book contains historically context, photographs and accounts to tell the history of the development of Iroquois Falls, Ontario. Specifically, it focuses on Anson's Folly, which was a dream concocted by Frank Anson of creating a power paper mill on lake Abitibi, in what would later become Iroquois Falls. The construction to clear the land began in 1913, by 1915 the mill was in full operation, it was known as the Abitibi Mill.
