Canadian Pacific postcard showing Steam Engines #136 and #1057 passing through the Credit River Valley in Cataract, Ontario in 1975. The front image shows the two trains on different tracks, appearing to both be coming around a bend. #136 has the front and left side visible, meaning the engine, tender, and cars are visible. #1057 has the front and right side visible, meaning the engine, tender, and cars are visible.
The caption on the reverse side reads:
"It's Oct. 5, 1975 and 4-4-0 No. 136 (ex-CPR class A2m; Rogers, 1883) and 4-6-0 No. 1057 (ex-CPR class D1h; MLW, 1912) are viewed in the Credit River Valley at Cataract, Ontario. At left, No. 136 and excursion train are climbing CPR's Elora Branch while No. 1057 is southbound on Orangeville Sub. These preserved locomotives are rolling stock form part of the collection of the South Simcoe Ry. Heritafe Corp. which plans to operate scheduled steam train service between Beeton and Tottenham, Ont."
