"Capreol, Ontario,
April 30, 1968.
Mr. R. A. Brankley
Engineman,
Capreol.
On the morning of April 28th you were called for train 304. This was an error due to the change of time card and its related problems.
You explained the situation to the crew dispatcher, and although you had been home only a very short time yourself, offered to take the train and lay over in Brent, rather than see the train delayed waiting on an engineer.
Your co-operation and assistance in this matter is highly commendable and we would like you to know that it is sincerely appreciated.
