GO transit, originally called Government of Ontario transit was founded in 1967 as a funded project by the Government of Ontario. It is a passenger service which primarily serves the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas. It has both coach buses as well as double decker diesel trains to serve commuters. Prior to its creation, Canadian National was essentially the only commuter service train and therefore it faced massive pressure and lacked funding. GO was created to ease the pressure.Collection
