Book describing the history of the Temiskaming district between the years 1886 and 1903.

Context

The book is part of a series of eight books covering all events and developments that happened between those years, specifically because the railroad that lead to New Ontario (Lake Temiskaming) had just been completed in 1903. The book specifically discusses the development of the mining industry in the Temiskaming district and how the helped to develop the towns. It also discusses the impact of the railway and how it helped the town develop. It also discusses the implementation of the railroad in 1903 for "New Ontario" which reached the head of Lake Temiskaming, which allowed for travel to and from the ports in the Temiskaming district, this created a boom in development.
