These objects are part of the estate of the late Jim McRae. It was donated to the museum by Dale Wilson, to whom this object was given by Jim's wife.
His son lives out west in Vancouver, and Mr. McRae was reportedly very interested in Canadian Pacific Railway's Royal Hudson steam engine which runs there (according to Dale Wilson).
Jim McRae was a Sudbury area train enthusiast who had donated objects to the museum in the past. He passed away in the summer of 2010 at the age of 85. He came from Manitoulin Island but he worked in Sudbury as a projectionist at the Odeon theater for many years.
His father was Gore Bay's only pharmacist.Collection
