Postcard showing Durham Street in downtown Sudbury, Ontario circa 1928.

Context

Part of a collection of postcards belonging to Dippie Carrise. Max and Dippie were married on October 2nd, 1945 in Apeldoorn, Holland. Dippie Carisse (nee Dirkjie) was born in Apeldoorn Holland in 1921 and endured the occupation of German soldiers during the Second World War. She married Max, a French Canadian soldier and moved to Capreol in 1946.
