A series of documents relating to the transfer of Patents for Fred Allen Jordan's improvements in methods and apparatus for briquetting from Fred A. Jordan to Moose Mountain Limited. Signed on May 21st 1915 and recorded June 5th 1915 by the U.S. Patent Office. This transfer of Patents is signed by Fred Allen Jordan and J.M. McNamara, Notary Public. There is a witness testimony signed by E.C. Wakefield Consular Agent of the United States of America in North Bay, Ontario, affixed to the bottom of the last transfer document. To the left of Wakefield's signature the is the official watermark of the American Consular Agency North Bay, Nippising; an American Consular Agency stamp is affixed on top of this. Above is a red stamp, with the following words stamped in blue across it "Cancelled June 5 1915 U.S. Patent Office. There are four sheets, attached to a blue paper cover with blue and red ribbon. The official seal of the United States Patent Office is affixed on the left side of the first sheet, and the official seal of the American Consular Agency is affixed to the bottom left of the final sheet over red and blue ribbon.Collection

Notes
These documents are in good condition. The papers have been folded into fourths, and the folds are deeply creased from having been stored folded, preventing the documents from lying flat. There are two small metal rings set into a hole in the top left corner of the documents that is starting to rust. These needs to be removed by a specialist to minimize damage to the documents. The witness testimony has been affixed to the bottom of the third sheet with an adhesive and two metal fasteners. These will eat away at the document over time and should be removed by a professional while the document is still relatively stable.
The ribbons are somewhat frayed at the ends.Created By
