Transfer of Patent from Fred A. Jordan to Moose Mountain Ltd., signed on April 27th 1914 in Sellwood, Ontario, by Fred A. Jordan and David M. Brodet. The transfer document is attached to a white paper sleeve, lined on the front with the words (printed in red and some hand written in black ink): Assignement No. 74007 Application No. 187657 Patent No. (blank) F.A. Jordan to Moose Mountain Limited for : method of and apparatus for making briquets. Recorded in the Patent Office, Department of Agriculture at Ottawa this 8th day of May 1914. As witness the seal of the Patent Office, signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Patents. The official seal of the Department of Agriculture Canada, Invention Patent Office, is affixed to the bottom left corner of this paper sleeve. The papers are tied together with a red ribbon. A letter is also included with this document, from Edwards, Sager, and Wooster Counsellors at Law (United States Express Building 2 Rector Street, New York NY USA) to Moose Mountain Limited (17 Battery Place New York City) regarding the above application.

2019.003.015a: This letter is in very good condition. The paper has been folded into thirds and is creased from having been stored folded. 2019.003.015b-c: These documents are in good condition. The papers have been folded into fourths, and the folds are creased from having been stored folded. There is a small metal rings set into a hole in the top left corner of the documents that is starting to rust. These needs to be removed by a specialist to minimize damage to the documents.
