Transfer of Patent from Fred A. Jordan to Moose Mountain Ltd., signed on April 27th 1914 in Sellwood, Ontario, by Fred A. Jordan and David M. Brodet U.S. Consular Agent, Sudbury, B.N.A). There are two official watermark of the US Consular Agent for Sudbury Ontario affixed beside David M. Brodet's signature, along with two American Consular Agency "1 dollar fee" stamps. The documents are attached to a blue paper sleeve with a blue ribbon. There are words stamped in blue ink on the outside of the sleeve " Recorded May 5 1914 U.S. Patent Office" and stamped in black ink " 98346. Also, handwritten in pencil, " Edwards, Sager, and Wooster, 2 Rector St. New York, N.Y. Fee $2.
There is a small slip of paper at the front of the documents from the United States Patent Office acknowledging receipt, signed by Thomas Ewing, Commissioner of Patents, with the official United States Patent Office seal (red, with the image of an eagle with wings spread in the centre) affixed on the left side of the slip.
The documents were stored inside a brown 4X91/2 inch "expanding wallet." On the wallet is printed: "BUSHENELL'S 'PAPEROID' (TRADE-MARK EXPANDING WALLETS. ALVAH BUSHNELL CO. PHILADELPHIA, PA. Patented Aug. 10th, 1909. On the front of the wallet is written "License Agreement between J.E. Greenawalt & M.M. Ltd. There is a brown cotton tie to hold the wallet shut. On the wallet is printed "Fred A. Jordan Patents. Methods of Briquetting and Assignments to Moose Mountain Ltd.Collection

2019.003.017a: This slip of paper is in good condition. There is a small tear in from the upper edge of the paper, 4.2 cm from the left edge and 0.7 cm long.
2019.003.017 b-d: These documents are in good condition. The papers have been folded into fourths, and the folds are creased from having been stored folded. There is a small metal rings set into a hole in the top left corner of the documents that is starting to rust. These needs to be removed by a specialist to minimize damage to the documents.
The seal and ribbon are in very good condition. The ribbon is very slightly starting to fray at the end.
2019.003.017e: This paper wallet is in very good condition. There is very slight wear along the fold in the covering flap where the wallet has been open and closed.Created By
