A series of correspondence, in reverse chronological order, between Joseph Sellwood, a J.W. Gates, and a number of other individuals regarding the discovery of ore in the area of (what would become) Moose Mountain Mines in 1902, ascertaining the extent and quality of the ore field, acquiring the property and the establishment of property ownership, the establishment of the Canadian ore operation (Moose Mountain), and an agreement dividing interest in the company between the involved parties.
