Context

Sturgeon Falls was created as provincial electorial district in 1908 and remained as one until 1934. It was originally created when West Nipissing district was divided into Sturgeon Falls and Sudbury for their 1908 election. The town of Sturgeon Falls was incorporated into a town in 1895. The book was written for the centennial celebration of the town in 1995.
