Context

The book provides a history of the creation and operation of the Key Valley Railway. The railway was founded in 1916 as a logging railway, it ran eastward from the Canadian Pacific Railway's mainline at Pakesley, Ontario for a total of 16 miles to Lost Channel, a logging camp and mill on the Pickerel River.
