Context

The Royal Tour of 1901 was a tour for the Duke and Dutchess of Cornwall and York, George V and Mary, who would later become King and Queen, and the parents of Queen Elizabeth II. The Royals were toured on the Canadian Pacific Railway, and set the tradition for using the Canadian Pacific Railway as the primary source of travel for future Royal Tours.
