There is a very interesting story of how the North Hampton Historical Society acquired this collection. In April of 2026 we received an email from Abigail ( Abby ) Joslin of Arlington, MA. A friend of Abby's found a box of family photos that had been in their Cambridge, MA basement since they bought the house in the 1980's. Abby's friend asked if she could help to determine who the family was. Abby contacted an archivist at the Cambridge Public Library. They determined the photos were from Mina E. Parks born in 1929. They also found out that Mina's mother ( Dawn E. Seavey ) was from North Hampton. That is the story of how the North Hampton Historical Society acquired this collection.
