Mostly photographs of Raymond and Gertrude Hobbs family back at least two generations, some Center School class photos, photos of two nearby businesses, and two invitations: Phillips Exeter closing excercises, wedding invitation. Date range: 1890s-1930s. Raymond Oliver Hobbs (1894-1966) was the son of Oliver S. (1868-1930) and Mary E. Hobbs, (nee Smith 1867-1954) , grandson of Abraham D. Hobbs and a descendant of Morris Hobbs, one of the early settlers in what became North Hampton. Gertrude L. Carter Hobbs (1895-1984) was born in Newburyport, MA. Raymond and Gertrude's children were Mary E. Hobbs (who married William Edwin Parker of Stratham, and John O. Hobbs (1922-1975) who married Isabelle M. Whenal (1925-2009) in 1945.
