Anna Gaut was born to Judge John Conway Gaut and Sarah McReynolds Gaut. She married Patrick Henry Manlove, a captain in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. She died in 1917 and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
