Description

Impressionistic three-quarter length painting of the subject facing slightly right, but with her head turned to look directly at the viewer. Her hair is short and gray, and she is wearing a short-sleeved v-neck black dress with a white lacy insert on the bodice and a yellow flower pin just below it. She is holding a filmy scarf or stole in both hands, and her hands are barely visible in front of her because of the scarf. There is a table to her right holding a vase filled with yellow flowers.
