Elizabeth Shotter was born in 1886 in Savannah, GA, to Spencer Proud foot Shottner and Elizabeth Owens Shotter. She married Alexander Lawton III (also in this collection) and they had at least two children. She died in 1956 and is buried in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
