Evander Shapard was born on May 18, 1844, in Shelbyville, TN, to David Green Shapard and Martha Allen Shapard. He married Cecilia Florence Baugh in 1909 and had two children, Evander Shapard and Evelyn Shapard Ridley, the artist. He died in in 1945 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Maury County. The 1910 census lists his occupation as merchant at a lumber yard.Create Date
