Florence Mueller Smith was born on July 11, 1853 to George Washington Smith and Elizabeth Henderson Smith. SHe married Capt. Thomas Provine Bridges in 1873 and died in childbirth shortly thereafter She is buried in Washington and Smith Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
