Frank Carl Stahlman was born on December 12, 1872, in Nashville to Edward Bushrod Stahlman and Mary Claiborne Stahlman. He married Annie Wert. Stahlman's father purchased the Nashville Banner in 1893. Frank and his nephew, James G. Stahlman, co-owned it from 1937 until Frank's death in 1949.Create Date
