Note

Hannah and Elizabeth Bogart were daughters of Samuel Bogart (b1724 NJ – d1807 TN) and his wife Catherine Range (b1741 NJ – d1826 TN). The Bogart/Bogaert family of Holland migrated to NY/New Amsterdam in the early 1600s. Less is known about the Range family. The Cooper family moved to Tennessee from Virginia after the Revolutionary War. James Cooper's father was Abraham Cooper who married a Miss Browning – probably the the source of William Browning Cooper's middle name.
