Three-quarter portrait of two young boys. The older is on the left and has his arm around the shoulder of the younger one. They are both seated and the younger brother rests his left elbow on the upper leg of the older one and places his right hand across that arm. They are both wearing dark jackets and light shirts with large collars that overlap the coats, and the part of the legs that are visible are also in a lighter fabric. The background is an unspecific outdoor scene.
