Mary Palmer Wade was born on 29 July 1904, in Nashville to Alton Duncan Wade and Josephine Tillou Palmer. She married Everett Edward Kelley in 1925 and had two children. They divorced and then she married Louis Fletcher Sperry in 1951. Mary died in 1998 and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
