Subject born 9 January 1805 (Orange County, VA) died May 1852 in Mississippi. Son of Richard Henry Taliaferro and Frances Walker Gilmer (Augusta) the daughter of George Rockingham Gilmer. Subject married Sarah Frances Adams 10 November 1825.
